Cloud Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Cloud Engineer who will design, build and operate scalable Azure‑based solutions for a global client. You will work within a modern DevOps team, leveraging automation, containerisation and hybrid‑cloud architectures to deliver high‑availability services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Develop, containerise and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Architect and support hybrid and multi‑cloud environments, ensuring security, networking and compliance.
• Monitor, troubleshoot and optimise cloud performance and cost efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or a related discipline.
• Azure certifications such as AZ‑104, AZ‑305 or AZ‑400.
• 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering with strong Azure exposure.
• Proven experience in DevOps and automation practices.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure (compute, networking, storage, security).
• Infrastructure as Code – Terraform (or similar).
• CI/CD tools – Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins.
• Configuration management – Ansible.
• Containerisation – Docker, Kubernetes.
• Scripting – PowerShell, Python, Bash.
• Networking concepts – VPN, load balancing, firewalls, routing.
