Clothing Factory Manager

About the role

We are seeking a full‑time Clothing Factory Manager to lead daily operations at our Brakpan facility. The role focuses on production planning, scheduling and resource allocation to meet output and quality targets while ensuring safety and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily factory operations, including production planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Supervise production teams, monitor performance and ensure adherence to safety, quality and compliance standards.
• Coordinate with procurement, maintenance and logistics to guarantee smooth manufacturing processes and timely delivery.
• Identify and implement process improvements to boost efficiency.
• Manage production reports, KPIs and performance dashboards.
• Handle staff training, development needs and support problem‑solving on the factory floor.

Required profile

• Strong skills in production planning and production management.
• Proven experience in manufacturing operations and operations management.
• Demonstrated capability in quality control.
• Experience managing teams in a clothing or textile manufacturing environment.
• Solid understanding of health, safety and labour regulations.
• Analytical, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Effective communication and organizational skills.
• Relevant qualification in production, industrial engineering or operations management is preferred.
• Prior experience as a factory, production or operations manager in apparel is highly advantageous.
