Clinical Education Manager – MedTech

About the role

The Clinical Education Manager (CEM) will lead the design and delivery of medical education activities for Johnson & Johnson MedTech products in Johannesburg. Working closely with sales leadership, the CEM ensures that the sales team and healthcare professionals receive accurate, balanced product knowledge to support patient outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with sales leadership to set goals, assess performance, and provide quantitative and qualitative feedback.
• Conduct periodic learning needs assessments and translate findings into targeted clinical education programs.
• Design and execute product training events such as workshops, in‑service sessions, animal labs, and congress presentations.
• Build and maintain a strong network of key opinion leaders and customers to drive best‑in‑class sales and education execution.
• Supervise ongoing training for internal teams and external customer networks, ensuring comprehensive medical, technical, and application knowledge.
• Support new product launches by preparing clinical and marketing literature and materials.

Required profile

• Experience working with sales teams in a healthcare or MedTech environment.
• Proven ability to assess team performance and deliver actionable feedback.
• Strong network‑building skills with key opinion leaders and customers.
• Ability to manage multiple education projects and events simultaneously.
