Client Services Controller – Johannesburg

About the role

The Client Services Controller will act as the primary liaison between GLS Supply Chain Equipment and its customers in the east of Johannesburg. You will provide accurate product and service information, resolve client issues promptly, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Reconcile client accounts and control equipment inventory.
• Investigate and resolve queries from customers and internal teams.
• Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for both customers and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate critical issues to the appropriate business units.
• Compile and present KPI reports aligned with service level agreements.
• Maintain strong client relationships through proactive issue identification and resolution.

Required profile

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Grade 12 qualification; tertiary education in Supply Chain Management, Finance or Accounting is desirable.
• Minimum three years of experience in a services environment, preferably retail or manufacturing.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
• Effective conflict handling, planning and time‑management abilities.
