Client Service Representative

About the role

Microchem Group is seeking a Client Service Representative to work across its laboratories in Stikland (Bellville) and Benoni (Johannesburg). The role focuses on delivering a seamless client experience, handling quotations, onboarding new business and supporting sales administration.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the end‑to‑end new business process, from quotation to onboarding.
• Act as a brand ambassador, ensuring positive interactions with all clients.
• Provide timely follow‑up on quotes, queries and complaints.
• Maintain accurate sales administration records and documentation.

Required profile

• Technical sales experience in micro or chemical sectors (advantageous).
• Customer‑centric attitude with strong interpersonal communication.
• Target‑driven, adaptable to diverse situations and settings.
• Confident, personable demeanor with a flexible, innovative approach.
• Excellent problem‑solving, organizational and detail‑oriented abilities.
• Efficient time‑management and proven ability to work well in a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the MS Office Suite.
