Client Relationship Manager – Fintech

About the role

The fast‑growing fintech company operating in employee financial wellness is seeking an experienced Client Relationship Manager to own a portfolio of employer clients. You will act as the trusted advisor, driving engagement, adoption and measurable commercial results.

Key responsibilities

• Manage a defined portfolio of employer clients as the primary point of contact.
• Build strong relationships across HR, payroll, finance and executive stakeholders.
• Maintain regular client engagement through meetings, site visits, reviews and structured follow‑ups.
• Take ownership of escalations and coordinate internal teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and present monthly performance reports and conduct quarterly business reviews.
• Turn client data into actionable insights and drive employee activation initiatives.
• Own portfolio growth, upsell targets and support renewals and commercial discussions.
• Maintain accurate CRM records and monitor account health for retention risks.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in relationship, account or customer success management within a B2B environment.
• Proven track record of managing and growing an existing client portfolio and achieving upsell targets.
• Strong relationship‑building skills with senior stakeholders across HR, payroll and finance.
• Ability to interpret client data, present clear findings and drive actionable outcomes.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport for regular client visits.
