Client Data Administrator

About the role

We are looking for a highly analytical and commercially minded Client Database & Marketing Administrator to help us transform our existing database into a powerful source of marketing and business intelligence. This role goes beyond traditional database administration, focusing on understanding customers and using insights to drive sales, marketing and retention.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, maintain and optimise company databases, ensuring data accuracy, completeness and security.
• Analyse customer and prospect data to develop segmentation, identify high‑value prospects and uncover cross‑selling or reactivation opportunities.
• Develop management reports and dashboards, automate recurring reports and present data in a commercially useful format.
• Assess the current database structure, recommend improvements, establish data standards and support long‑term data‑driven marketing capabilities.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in CRM administration, customer data analysis, marketing analytics or business intelligence.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency is essential.
• Proven experience working with CRM systems and large customer databases.
• Knowledge of POPIA and responsible personal data management is advantageous.
