Client Care Advisor – Customer Service Specialist

About the role

The Client Care Advisor is the first point of contact for members, employers, brokers and healthcare providers contacting Admed. You will handle inbound and outbound calls, provide product guidance, resolve enquiries and ensure every interaction reflects service excellence and Treating Customers Fairly principles.

Key responsibilities

• Answer inbound calls professionally, courteously and within agreed service level agreements.
• Authenticate callers before discussing confidential information and record all interactions accurately in the administration system.
• Handle membership, premium, benefit and claims enquiries, aiming to resolve issues on the first call.
• Route specialist queries to the appropriate operational team and follow up to ensure timely resolution.
• Take and distribute messages promptly and conduct outbound calls as required to support customers and operational needs.
• Act as the primary contact for members, employers, brokers and healthcare providers, delivering a consistently friendly and customer‑focused experience.

Required profile

• Matric Technical/Legal certification or equivalent.
• Certificate in customer servicing or call‑centre training combined with administration skills.
• Basic computer literacy, especially MS Office.
• Minimum 2 years inbound call‑centre experience.
• Minimum 1 year administration experience.
• Experience in gap cover or medical‑scheme servicing is advantageous.
