Civil Drafter – Civil 3D Modeling

About the role

The Civil Drafter will develop and maintain Civil 3D models and associated drawing packages to support site development engineering designs. Working within the Project Delivery Group, you will translate engineering inputs into detailed, buildable models for grading, drainage, roads and other infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage Civil 3D models for site grading, earthworks, access roads, stormwater and drainage systems.
• Prepare layout, detail and drawing packages for both study and detailed design phases.
• Extract quantities and support model‑based deliverables.
• Coordinate closely with civil engineers and other disciplines to interpret design intent and resolve clashes.
• Ensure all models and drawings comply with project and company standards and perform quality checks before issue.
• Maintain file integrity within common data environments.

Required profile

• Diploma in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• 5–10 years of experience in civil drafting or modelling.
• Strong background in grading, drainage, road and site infrastructure design.
• Experience in multi‑disciplinary project environments, preferably in mining, energy or infrastructure.
