About the role
The International Hotel School at the Gqeberha campus is looking for a Chef Lecturer to join its academic team. The purpose of the role is to teach and share a passion for the hospitality industry with eager young students, helping them grow individually and play a part in their career paths and success.
Required profile
- NQF Level 7 hospitality qualification (essential)
- Registration with ETDP SETA as an Assessor (beneficial)
- Scoped by CATHSSETA (beneficial)
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant, practical industry experience
- Minimum of 2 years of lecturing or teaching experience
- Knowledge of QCTO and the 14111 curriculum and assessment
- Demonstrated history of student throughput, pass rates and understanding
Required skills
- Proficiency in related computer software
- Strong administrative ability
