Checker Operator – Clayville (J305)

About the role
The Checker Operator ensures materials are checked, loaded, unloaded and stacked safely and efficiently while upholding quality, safety and customer service standards in a warehouse environment.
Key responsibilities
- Manage stock quality and enforce stock rotation principles.
- Conduct pre‑trip forklift inspections and maintain optimal forklift condition, including fuel/battery and fluid levels.
- Apply health, safety and environmental standards, using required personal protective equipment.
- Perform accurate daily stock counts using a handheld device.
- Communicate effectively with the Inventory Manager, Coordinators and Warehouse Supervisor.
- Check, load and unload trucks, load empties onto the line and stack finished products to maintain line productivity.
- Participate in shift handover processes and ensure proper documentation.
Required profile
- Minimum 3 years of warehouse operations experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience driving and operating a forklift.
- Proficiency with handheld devices is an advantage.
