About the role
We are looking for a motivated Chat Support Agent to provide real‑time assistance to customers via live chat and messaging platforms. This fully remote position is ideal for someone who types quickly, thinks on their feet, and consistently delivers friendly, accurate support.
Key responsibilities
- Respond to customer queries promptly and professionally through live chat and messaging tools.
- Resolve product, service, and account‑related questions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage multiple simultaneous chat conversations while maintaining high quality.
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate team when necessary.
- Log all chat interactions in the CRM or helpdesk system with precision.
- Contribute to the improvement of chat scripts, FAQs, and support documentation.
- Meet response‑time targets and customer satisfaction (CSAT) benchmarks.
Required profile
- At least 1 year of experience in live chat support, customer service, or a similar role.
- Fast and accurate typing skills (minimum 45 WPM).
- Strong written communication – clear, friendly, and professional.
- Ability to handle multiple chats simultaneously without compromising quality.
- Patient, detail‑oriented, and calm under pressure.
- Reliable home office setup with a stable internet connection.
- Matric certificate required.
