About the role
We are seeking a qualified Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) with at least two years of post‑articles commercial finance experience to join our finance team in Glenashley, Durban. The role focuses on financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting and overseeing the debtors and creditors function while supervising a small finance team.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and analyse financial statements and management reports in compliance with IFRS.
- Lead budgeting, forecasting and month‑end closing processes.
- Manage cash‑flow, reconciliations, stock and fixed‑asset control.
- Provide audit support and ensure accurate debtors and creditors management.
- Supervise and develop a small finance team.
Required profile
- CA(SA) qualification (non‑negotiable).
- Minimum two years post‑articles commercial finance experience (audit‑only experience not considered).
- Previous supervisory or people‑management experience.
Required skills
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and financial reporting.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
