Cash Acceptance Device Technician - Ermelo & Witbank

About the role

CashMaster, part of Fidelity Services Group, is looking for a technician for its Ermelo and Witbank operations, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role provides professional and efficient service to customers by diagnosing, troubleshooting and repairing cash acceptance devices, while attending to all related calls from management, the Installations Team and the Call Centre.

Key responsibilities

• Provide service and customer support during field visits or dispatches.
• Manage on-site installations, repairs, maintenance and testing tasks.
• Diagnose errors or technical problems and determine the right solution.
• Understand customer needs and give appropriate recommendations and briefings.
• Produce timely and detailed reports and record all actions, call details, completed job cards and group SLA updates.
• Drive safely, follow company procedures, maintain a professional appearance and build positive relationships with customers.
• Meet SLA timeframes and carry out monthly preventative maintenance on devices.

Required profile

• National Senior Certificate (Matric / Grade 12).
• Valid driver's licence.
• Outstanding customer service skills and technical experience.
• Excellent technical, problem-solving and analytical skills, and strong written and oral communication.
• Willingness to work weekends and holidays.
• Grade C PSIRA registration.
