Case Assistant – Vascular (Medical Device) – KZN

About the role

The Case Assistant will support the sales of a full range of vascular medical devices by building relationships with healthcare professionals such as vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, stock controllers and theatre staff. This role combines field sales activities with administrative duties to maintain and grow existing business within the assigned territory.

Key responsibilities

• Promote and sell vascular product ranges to healthcare professionals.
• Maintain existing customer relationships and develop new ones.
• Schedule and attend appointments with customers and support theatre lists.
• Prepare and manage consignment stock, including counting and rotation.
• Submit weekly planners and activity reports to the direct manager.
• Request, follow up on quotations and handle general administrative tasks.
• Adhere to credit policies, legal and ethical standards, and submit monthly marketing reports.
• Assist the Sales Manager with field feedback on stock ordering.

Required profile

• Recent knowledge of vascular or related medical device field.
• Ability to communicate professionally with healthcare professionals.
• Strong organisational skills for scheduling and reporting.
• Willingness to travel within the assigned territory.
