Camunda BPM Consultant – 12‑Month Contract

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Camunda expert to operationalise the Camunda platform for a leading South African bank. The consultant will be responsible for deploying, configuring and maintaining Camunda in a production environment throughout a 12‑month contract. This role will work closely with the bank’s IT and business teams to ensure seamless process automation and high‑availability services.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy, configure and run Camunda in production, including the engine, Cockpit and clustering.
• Set up monitoring, logging, scaling, backups and high‑availability solutions.
• Integrate Camunda with enterprise systems and APIs.
• Perform performance tuning, capacity planning and provide ongoing operational support.
• Collaborate with development and business analysts to translate process requirements into BPMN/DMN models.

Required profile

• Strong hands‑on experience with Camunda BPMN and DMN.
• Background in production operations, system reliability and performance optimisation.
• Ability to work onsite in Johannesburg and liaise with cross‑functional teams.
