Business Partner (HRD) – TMM Junior

About the role

The Business Partner (HRD) – TMM Junior supports the Human Resources Development function by providing coaching, training and operational guidance to teams working with TMM machinery. Reporting to senior HR leadership, the role bridges technical expertise and people development to ensure safe, efficient and compliant operations.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver on‑the‑job training and coaching for operators of TMM machines, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with line managers to identify skill gaps and design targeted development plans.
• Assist in the administration of HR processes such as performance reviews, competency assessments and certification tracking.
• Support the implementation of SAP HR modules and maintain accurate employee data.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to blasting operations and equipment utilization.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of hands‑on experience with TMM machines.
• At least two (2) years of experience in training, coaching or mentoring staff.
• Relevant formal training qualification or recognized trade test (e.g., Blasting Ticket).
• Grade 12 or ETDP Level 4 education.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of SAP HR functions (desirable).
• Ability to operate and troubleshoot TMM machinery.
