Business Development Representative – US Market (Onsite)

About the role

Fundwell, a fast‑growing US‑based financing platform, is looking for a high‑energy Business Development Representative to join its Cape Town team. You will focus on the US market, engaging business owners, qualifying opportunities and guiding them through the funding process in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Make 150–200+ outbound cold‑calls daily to prospective business clients.
• Handle objections confidently and keep conversations with decision‑makers on track.
• Identify client needs quickly and position appropriate funding solutions.
• Build and maintain a consistent pipeline through effective qualification and follow‑ups.
• Keep client records up‑to‑date in the CRM in real time.
• Consistently achieve daily, weekly and monthly sales targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in outbound B2B sales or high‑volume cold‑calling environments.
• Excellent verbal communication with a clear, neutral English accent.
• Strong objection‑handling, negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Exposure to UK or US markets and prior financial‑services sales experience are advantageous.
• Organised with accurate CRM and pipeline management skills.
• Eligible to work in South Africa and able to work US‑aligned hours (14:00‑23:00 or 15:00‑00:00).
