Business Development Representative – US Funding (On‑Site)

About the role

Fundwell, a fintech platform that provides capital to US small and medium‑size businesses, is seeking a Business Development Representative to work from its Fourways hub in Johannesburg. You will engage US‑based CEOs and executives during the US business day, qualifying leads and driving funding opportunities.

Key responsibilities

• Make 150‑200 outbound calls daily to US prospects and follow up consistently.
• Qualify leads and identify high‑potential B2B financing opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records in the company CRM and manage your sales pipeline.
• Execute Fundwell’s sales playbook and leverage its technology to achieve targets.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in a fast‑paced sales environment such as debt collection, B2B sales, or high‑volume outbound calling.
• Ability to work the fixed shift of 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM SAST on‑site.
• Flawless, neutral English accent and strong communication skills for conversations with US executives.
• High stamina, resilience and a results‑driven mindset.
