Business Development Representative – Pipeline (Phuthaditjhaba)

About the role

The Business Development Representative (BDR) will drive sales growth and market share for IBPLC products in the Phuthaditjhaba region. You will work closely with distributors and retail outlets to ensure product availability, optimal merchandising, and competitive positioning.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for the assigned geographic area.
• Manage and supervise distributors, handling orders, payments, and re‑distribution.
• Maintain adequate stock levels of the full product range at customer and retail locations.
• Implement merchandising standards, including POS displays and dedicated chillers for IBPLC brands.
• Ensure chillers are correctly placed and used exclusively for IBPLC products.
• Monitor product pricing at sales outlets and track competitor activities.

Required profile

• Three‑year degree qualification.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in sales, marketing or FMCG.
• Valid unendorsed Code 8 driver’s licence.
• Basic computer literacy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong knowledge of the local area.
• Excellent administration, relationship management and customer service skills.
• Strong negotiation, problem‑solving, attention to detail and professional demeanor.
