Business Development Representative (BDR 3)

About the role

The Business Development Representative (BDR 3) will drive growth in volumes sold, increase market share and enhance competitiveness by delivering market‑driven, differentiated service within clearly identified segments.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve sales targets for assigned areas.
• Manage and supervise distributors in the assigned sector, handling orders, payments and redistribution.
• Ensure IB products are stocked in a complete range at customer and retail outlets.
• Maintain merchandising visibility (POS and chillers) in customer and retail locations.
• Place chillers correctly and ensure they are used exclusively for IBPLC products.
• Monitor recommended product pricing at sales outlets.
• Closely track competitor actions.

Required profile

• Minimum B.Sc. or HND in Social Sciences or a relevant discipline.
• At least 2 years of sales experience in the FMCG industry.
• Strong theoretical and practical knowledge of FMCG sales.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Dynamic, sociable and well‑organised with good collaboration skills.
• Ability to lead teams, maintain good inter‑departmental relations and work under pressure.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Punctual, self‑confident, self‑disciplined and committed to achieving set objectives.
