Business Development Manager – Hospitality Sector

About the role

We are seeking two experienced Business Development Managers to drive sales of premium hospitality products and solutions. The role focuses on building relationships with hotels, lodges, restaurants, coffee shops, event venues and hospitality groups across the Durban region.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and secure new business opportunities within the hospitality sector.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with new and existing customers.
• Conduct client visits and deliver product presentations.
• Assess customer requirements and propose suitable product solutions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and achieve sales targets.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Collaborate with internal service and operations teams to ensure excellent delivery.
• Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions and networking opportunities.

Required profile

• Proven external sales or business development experience, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Existing network of contacts in hotels, lodges, restaurants, coffee shops, catering companies or hospitality groups.
• Strong relationship‑building and negotiation abilities.
• Self‑motivated with a focus on new business acquisition.
• Valid driver’s licence and reliable personal vehicle.
