Business Developer – Telesales

About the role

Smart Staff Solutions is seeking an energetic Business Developer – Telesales to join its recruitment and HR services team in Pretoria. You will be the voice of the company, contacting potential clients, building relationships and promoting our staffing solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Generate new business through outbound cold‑calling and follow‑up emails.
• Identify client hiring needs and recommend appropriate staffing solutions.
• Book appointments for Business Development Managers and support the sales pipeline.
• Maintain accurate records in the CRM and manage the sales pipeline.
• Achieve weekly and monthly activity and revenue targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in telesales, business development or B2B sales.
• Strong telephone etiquette, negotiation and persuasion abilities.
• Self‑motivated, target‑driven and able to build rapport quickly with decision‑makers.
• Excellent verbal and written English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using CRM systems.
