Business Analyst – Procurement

About the role

The Business Analyst will join the Business Process & Analytics team within TFG’s Non-Merchandise Procurement function. The role supports the Strategic Sourcing team and senior leadership by gathering requirements, analysing spend data and generating insights that drive cost savings, risk reduction and sustainability outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, validate and document business requirements for sourcing initiatives.
• Analyse spend and other data to quantify savings, risk reduction and transformation benefits.
• Validate insights with sourcing teams and secure stakeholder buy‑in.
• Support the development and improvement of sourcing toolkits, Coupa commodity tree and reporting standards.
• Provide analysis and reporting support for the Group Procurement Committee, Category Advisory Boards and portfolio updates.
• Assist the Business Process & Analytics Manager and Head of Non‑Merchandise Procurement with reporting, process coordination and priority setting.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports and mentor junior team members.

Required profile

• Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent.
• 3‑5 years of experience in business or data analysis, preferably within retail procurement.
• Demonstrated experience in continuous improvement and simplifying complex processes.
• Experience working with spend or procurement data and supplier performance management is advantageous.
