Business Analyst II (Payments)

About the role

Capitec Bank is looking for a Business Analyst II (Payments) in Sandton. The role optimises business efficiencies through automation, digital, information and communications technologies by analysing, defining and documenting business requirements and functional specifications. It works closely with Business, Product and Technology stakeholders to turn business needs into practical solutions, contributing across the Business Analysis lifecycle for payment-related products, processes and technology.

Required profile

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Business Analysis
• 5+ years of experience in Business Analysis, able to work independently with limited supervision
• Completion of the internal BA School of Learning Level 3
• Experience with requirements elicitation, analysis, documentation, process analysis and solution support
• Experience working with business and technology stakeholders in a complex organisation
• Experience with Agile development and/or the SDLC
• Ideal: experience with payment products, digital payments or open banking, and exposure to API-based integrations
• Clear criminal and credit record

• Ability to analyse business processes and turn them into artefacts such as context diagrams, process flows and visual explanations
• Ability to identify gaps and dependencies and to translate business requirements into clear functional requirements
