Bus Driver – Passenger Transport

About the role
Unitrans is looking for experienced professional bus drivers to operate passenger services on established routes. You will be responsible for safely transporting passengers, maintaining vehicle comfort, and ensuring timely arrivals.
Key responsibilities
- Drive a bus on scheduled routes, adhering to prescribed speeds and traffic regulations.
- Control lighting, heating and ventilation to provide a comfortable environment for passengers.
- Monitor road and travelling conditions, using defensive driving techniques to ensure safety.
- Guarantee passengers reach their destinations on time.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, code of conduct and relevant transport regulations.
Required profile
- Proven experience as a professional bus driver.
- Valid Public Services Driving License (PG) and appropriate professional driving permit (PrDP).
- Strong knowledge of defensive and preventive driving methods.
- Commitment to obey traffic laws and avoid infractions.
- Willingness to follow company procedures and safety standards.
