Broker Consultant – Financial Services

About the role

The Broker Consultant will build and nurture professional relationships with financial advisers, brokers, intermediaries and business partners. You will act as a trusted partner, promoting the organisation's full suite of products and services while delivering exceptional support to intermediary channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strategic business partnerships to drive growth.
• Prospect, negotiate and secure new business opportunities.
• Onboard new advisers and manage ongoing relationships.
• Market and promote the organisation's products and services.
• Deliver product presentations, technical training and continuous support to advisers.
• Identify business development and marketing opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends, legislation and regulatory requirements.
• Respond to adviser and client queries with high‑quality service.
• Prepare accurate reports, sales updates and feedback for management.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure excellent service delivery.

Required profile

• Grade 12 (Matric) qualification.
• Relevant qualification in Financial Services, Insurance, Wealth Management, Business or related field (advantageous).
• Minimum three years’ experience in the insurance or financial services industry.
• Proven experience in broker consulting, intermediary relationship management or business development.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
