Brewing Operator

About the role

The Brewing Operator is responsible for safely running one or more discrete processes within a brewery, ensuring consistent product quality while optimizing cost and efficiency. You will operate brewing, fermentation, filtration, and packaging equipment, perform routine maintenance, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Operate brew house, fermentation, filtration, and packaging plants according to standard procedures.
• Perform housekeeping tasks and apply 5S principles to maintain a safe work environment.
• Identify and correct unsafe work practices and report unresolved issues to the BAM team.
• Execute quality control checks, record results in the information system, and apply quick‑fix problem‑solving techniques when needed.
• Document and draft standard work procedures, including quick‑fix routines.
• Participate in shift hand‑overs, meetings, and goal reviews, using shift logbooks to communicate issues.
• Carry out autonomous maintenance tasks and respond rapidly to process deviations.
• Coach and develop fellow team members and specialist brewery technicians.

Required profile

• Diploma in Food Science, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and analytical skills.
• Good communication skills and a collaborative team attitude.
