Brand Manager

About the role

Our client is looking for a dynamic, data‑driven Brand Manager to lead the strategic growth of their FMCG portfolio in the Johannesburg market. You will own end‑to‑end brand management, from consumer insights and campaign execution to budget oversight and ROI tracking. If you are passionate about consumer trends and have a proven record of growing brands, this role is for you.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute innovative marketing strategies to boost brand equity, market share and profitability.
• Lead the creation of 360‑degree campaigns across digital, print, TV and in‑store channels.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activity and consumer insights to uncover new business opportunities.
• Partner with trade marketing, sales and supply‑chain teams to ensure seamless product launches.
• Manage the brand’s marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation and measurable ROI.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or a related field.
• 3–5 years of brand management experience within the FMCG industry.
• Demonstrated success launching new products and handling high‑budget campaigns.
• Willingness to be based in or relocate to Johannesburg.
