Branch Manager

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager to lead our industrial branch in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town. You will own sales growth, profitability, customer relationships, and team performance within a well‑established supplier of screening, filtration, and conveyor solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive branch growth through strategic sales leadership, business development, and key account management.
• Oversee profitability, budgets, gross profit margins, and operational performance.
• Lead, coach, and develop branch staff while ensuring exceptional customer service.
• Build strong client relationships, identify new business opportunities, and monitor market trends.
• Coordinate activities across sales, procurement, warehouse, logistics, and operations teams to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years’ experience managing a commercial or industrial branch.
• Minimum 8 years’ B2B industrial sales experience.
• Proven leadership, people management, and business development experience.
• Diploma or degree in Business Management, Sales, Marketing, Commerce, Engineering, or a related field.

Required skills

• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with conveyor belting, screening media, and filtration products.
• Understanding of engineering supplies and mining sector requirements.
