Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor

About the role

We are looking for a Branch Consultant / Financial Advisor to join our Boulders branch. You will promote Sanlam Retail Mass (SRM) products, provide sound financial advice and deliver high‑level client service in a branch environment.

Key responsibilities

• Promote SRM product range and increase market share through cross‑selling and client optimisation.
• Assess customers’ financial goals, needs and means, and recommend appropriate products.
• Submit new business through the correct channels and validate client details against regulatory requirements.
• Conduct due‑diligence, identify risks and manage client appointments while handling walk‑in customers.
• Service existing client portfolios, send payment reminders, follow‑up queries and manage policy cancellations or alternatives.
• Monitor and report on NTUs, ensure persistency of client payments and maintain client risk profiles.
• Escalate complex queries using the established escalation framework and provide timely feedback.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of SRM product ranges and ability to match them to client needs.
• Excellent client service orientation with the ability to manage appointments and walk‑ins efficiently.
• Attention to regulatory compliance and risk identification.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and report on client activity.
