About the role

Join Sanlam Developing Markets as a Branch Consultant/Financial Advisor at Sky City Mall. You will provide sound financial advice, promote a range of retail mass products, and help clients meet their financial goals.

Key responsibilities

• Promote Sanlam Retail Mass products and increase market share through cross‑selling and client optimisation.
• Deliver high‑level client service in a branch setting, including policy advice, cancellations, and alternative payment arrangements.
• Manage client portfolios, send payment reminders, follow up on queries, and ensure persistency of payments.
• Validate client details against regulatory requirements and submit new business through appropriate channels.
• Conduct due‑diligence, identify risks, and maintain accurate client records.
• Prioritise daily appointments while handling walk‑in clients and non‑appointment enquiries.

Required profile

• Strong sales orientation with a deep understanding of SRM product ranges.
• Ability to assess customers' financial needs and recommend suitable, affordable solutions.
• Proactive communication skills to keep clients informed of product updates and changes.
• Attention to compliance, regulatory standards, and risk management.
• Effective time‑management to balance appointments and walk‑in traffic.
