Branch Administrator

About the role

The Branch Administrator will support the Branch and Financial Manager in Mafikeng, ensuring smooth administrative operations and compliance with company policies. This role combines office management, financial controls, and safety oversight to keep the branch running efficiently.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all administrative functions within the branch, including office upkeep, stationery and equipment ordering.
• Coordinate travel, meeting arrangements and maintain petty cash, ensuring accurate records.
• Prepare monthly reports, revenue checks, general ledger reconciliations and journal entries.
• Oversee creditors, debtors, transport, stock, fixed assets, cash processing and mail/courier services.
• Assist the Branch Manager in compiling monthly management reports and maintain HR records such as leave planners and attendance registers.
• Supervise administrative staff and ensure compliance with safety plans, incident reporting and safety meetings.

Required profile

• Grade 12 qualification, preferably with mathematics or accounting subjects.
• Previous experience in an administrative capacity, ideally within cash management or financial services.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy and ability to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Good understanding of report compilation and basic HR functions.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience using SAP for financial and inventory processes.
