About the role
Fidelity Cash Solutions is hiring an entry-level Boxroom Operator for its Parow branch, reporting to the Branch Manager. The role involves handling cash-in-transit consignments, scanning and sorting them, and looking after the vault. It is a permanent position.
Key responsibilities
- Receive and distribute consignments to and from cash-in-transit teams
- Scan and sort consignments
- Balance and lock the vault
- Maintain documentation and perform searching duties
Required profile
- Clear criminal record
- At least one year in the security industry or a similar role
- Ability to work nights and under pressure, and physical fitness
- Overtime willingness, accuracy, honesty and teamwork
- PSIRA accreditation with at least Grade C is advantageous but not stated as essential
Required skills
- Compulsory computer literacy
- Communication skills
