About the role
A well‑established financial advisory firm in Durban North is seeking an energetic, detail‑oriented Bookkeeper to join its growing team. This full‑time position offers a hands‑on environment within a professional, close‑knit group.
Key responsibilities
- Perform full bookkeeping functions and maintain accurate records.
- Conduct bank and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare management accounts and support reporting.
- Handle VAT and other statutory submissions.
- Process personal tax returns.
- Provide general financial administration support.
- Assist the Financial Manager with day‑to‑day finance tasks.
Required profile
- 3‑5 years of bookkeeping experience.
- Experience in a financial advisory firm, accounting practice, or similar environment is advantageous.
- Demonstrated personal tax experience.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive attitude.
Required skills
- Xero accounting software.
- Advanced Excel proficiency.
