Bar Staff – Serve Food & Drinks in a Pub

About the role

Join a friendly, hard‑working team at The Admiral Collingwood pub, serving food and drinks to customers in a fast‑paced environment. No prior experience is required – we provide full training and a supportive atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Take orders and serve drinks to the correct specification, both at the bar and via the customer app.
• Deliver food, complete check‑backs and clear plates within required timeframes.
• Provide courteous customer interactions, promote promotions and events.
• Maintain cleanliness standards: clear tables, wipe surfaces, perform toilet checks, and keep the bar area tidy.
• Assist with glass‑washing, restocking fridges, floor and beer‑garden duties, and other ad‑hoc tasks.

Required profile

• Enthusiastic, reliable and friendly with a positive attitude.
• Calm under pressure and willing to learn.
• Team‑oriented and comfortable working flexible shift patterns, including mornings, evenings, weekends and late finishes.

Required skills

What we offer

• Competitive hourly rate of £12.81.
• Free meal and drink while on shift, plus 20% discount on food, drinks and hotel accommodation for you and up to three guests.
• £1 extra per hour for midnight‑5:59 am shifts.
