About the role

The Excelsior Florence is seeking a motivated Bar Manager to create memorable guest experiences through exceptional service and a vibrant bar environment. You will work closely with the kitchen and front‑of‑house teams to ensure seamless operations.

Key responsibilities

Set up and maintain bar stations, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for service.
Communicate orders and special requests with the kitchen staff.
Interact with guests, take orders, serve drinks, and handle payments.
Maintain a safe and organized work area, adhering to company policies and health standards.
Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, lifting up to 25 lb (50 lb with assistance), and moving across uneven surfaces.

Required profile

High school diploma or GED equivalent.
Less than one year of related hospitality experience.
No prior supervisory experience required.
Ability to read and verify menu information accurately.
Willingness to work on feet and perform the physical duties described.
