About the role
The Capital Hotels is seeking a Banqueting Waiter to deliver friendly, fast, and efficient food and beverage service for conferences and functions. You will be part of a team that values dignity, integrity, and a modern hospitality culture.
Key responsibilities
- Serve food and beverages to guests in conference and function areas.
- Set up and break down function spaces, ensuring all equipment and décor are in place.
- Manage front‑of‑house duties, including greeting guests and maintaining a tidy service area.
- Monitor and replenish stock levels for smooth operation.
Required profile
- Matric qualification.
- Hospitality qualification or equivalent.
- 1–2 years experience as a Banqueting Waiter.
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to stay calm under pressure.
- Team player who can also work independently.
- Honest, trustworthy, and detail‑oriented.
- Presentable, well‑spoken, and able to work shifts.
