Backend Software Engineer – .NET (Hybrid/Remote)

About the role

We are looking for a Backend Software Engineer to join CyberSentriq’s engineering team. The role focuses on building secure, cloud‑native .NET applications that power our cyber‑security platform. You will work in a hybrid or remote setting, collaborating with product, design, QA and operations.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain robust .NET applications using modern cloud technologies with a strong emphasis on security and data integrity.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to define requirements and deliver high‑quality, secure features.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to security best practices and coding standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues, prioritising protection of data.
• Stay up‑to‑date with cyber‑security trends and share insights with the team.
• Perform DevOps duties to keep production environments secure and reliable.

Required profile

• 2‑3 years of solid experience developing with .NET and C#.
• Familiarity with agile development frameworks such as SCRUM.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Attention to detail, analytical thinking and a security‑first mindset.
