Back-End C# Developer (Azure & AI)

About the role

We are looking for a Back‑End C# Developer to join our team in Johannesburg. The role focuses on designing and delivering scalable APIs and micro‑services while integrating AI capabilities through Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain RESTful APIs and micro‑service architectures using .NET Core.
• Implement intelligent back‑end features leveraging Azure OpenAI, cognitive services and vector search.
• Manage data access and persistence with SQL databases.
• Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
• Collaborate with front‑end and data teams to ensure seamless integration.

Required profile

• 3‑7 years of professional experience in back‑end development.
• Strong proficiency in C#.NET Core and Web API development.
• Hands‑on experience with Azure Cloud services, including Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services.
• Solid understanding of SQL databases and data modelling.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices.
