B2B Coffee Machine Technician

About the role

The Coffee Machine Technician installs, maintains and repairs commercial and domestic coffee equipment for B2B clients. Reporting to the Supervisor, the role ensures minimal downtime and high service quality while providing on‑site and remote support.

Key responsibilities

• Install and commission coffee machines at customer sites, calibrating grinders, boilers and extraction systems.
• Perform routine preventative maintenance and diagnose mechanical, hydraulic or electrical faults.
• Repair or replace components such as pumps, valves, grinders, sensors, boilers and circuit boards, then test for full functionality.
• Respond to service calls, log activities and advise customers on proper operation and cleaning.
• Manage spare‑part inventory, report shortages and maintain tools and equipment.
• Follow safety regulations, electrical standards and internal service protocols to ensure compliance.

Required profile

• Matric / Grade 12 (essential) with a valid driver’s licence.
• 1–3 years of experience repairing coffee machines, vending machines or similar appliances.
• Electrical or mechanical trade qualification (advantageous).
• Physical ability to lift, move and install heavy machines and willingness to work on‑call, overtime or weekends.
