Azure Data Scientist (Mid/Senior)

About the role

Amidel is seeking a motivated Azure Data Scientist with strong machine‑learning and data‑engineering expertise to deliver data‑driven solutions for clients in finance, healthcare and public services. The role involves designing, building and operationalising AI models on Microsoft Azure.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy scalable machine‑learning models using Azure Machine Learning.
• Perform data ingestion, transformation and feature engineering with Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics and Databricks.
• Collaborate with data engineers to create robust pipelines and integrate models via APIs or embedded services.
• Implement MLOps practices, automated ML pipelines and model monitoring for production workloads.
• Produce interactive Power BI dashboards to visualise predictive insights for business stakeholders.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in data science, analytics or AI/ML solution development.
• At least 3 years working on Microsoft Azure‑based data‑science platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics or related field.
• Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Scientist Associate (required or in progress).
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
