Aviation Sales Manager

About the role

The Aviation Sales Manager will lead the sales function for the aviation segment, driving revenue, margin and customer profitability. This role combines strategic account planning, sales operations management and talent development to support Puma Energy Aviation’s growth objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve financial targets including sales volume, margin, DSO and return on assets.
• Engage with customers to qualify opportunities, manage pursuit, conduct account planning and oversee key accounts.
• Oversee sales operations: forecasting, budgeting, communication, marketing events, CRM management and legal compliance.
• Collaborate with marketing and business development to source leads, develop value propositions and execute commercial messages.
• Build and manage sales talent: recruit, onboard, train and coach team members.
• Maintain customer profitability, pricing, rebates, discount levels and gross margin after variable expense.
• Conduct variance analysis, business reviews and corrective actions against budget.
• Develop and execute commercial strategy, new business models and market intelligence gathering.
• Ensure compliance with HSEQ, security standards and internal risk controls.

Required profile

• Proven ability to meet or exceed set financial objectives.
• Experience in managing sales operations and forecasting.
• Strong capability to engage with customers and manage key accounts.
• Track record of building and developing sales talent.
• Understanding of pricing, rebates, discount structures and gross margin management.
