About the role
Charisma Healthcare Solutions is seeking an Auxiliary Nurse on a locum basis to join its team in Sandton. This full‑time position involves providing essential patient care and supporting clinical staff in a dynamic hospital environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver daily patient care activities, including hygiene, mobility assistance, and basic clinical observations.
- Support registered nurses and doctors with basic clinical tasks and documentation.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment, ensuring infection‑control standards are met.
- Provide emotional support and clear communication with patients and their families.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated patient care.
Required profile
- Registered with the South African Nursing Council (SANC).
- 1‑3 years experience as an Enrolled Nursing Assistant (ENA) in private or public hospitals.
- Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport (optional but preferred).
- Ability to work shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
