Audit Supervisor – External Audits & Leadership

About the role

We are looking for a passionate auditor who wants to enrol in the IRBA ADP programme. This full‑time, on‑site position in Randburg links the director with the audit team and supports firm operations.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a vital link between the director and the audit team.
• Support operations and drive delivery across the firm.
• Coach, guide, train and educate junior team members, trainees and interns.
• Apply hands‑on knowledge of external audits, ISAs, IFRS, IFRS for SMEs and the Companies Act.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) or ACCA qualification.
• SAICA registered assessor or experience with the SAICA trainee assessment process (advantage).
• Interest in registering on the IRBA ADP programme.
• Strong leadership, team‑management and decision‑making abilities.
• Experience in audit, tax, accounting and advisory services within an SME environment.

Required skills

• External audit knowledge, ISAs, IFRS, IFRS for SMEs and Companies Act.
• Proficiency with audit and accounting software.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize workload and meet deadlines.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
