Audit Senior – Remote US Not‑For‑Profit Audit (CA(SA) required)

About the role

Makosi is seeking a qualified CA(SA) to join its talent community as an Audit Senior supporting a US Not‑For‑Profit client. The role is fully remote from South Africa and offers exposure to US GAAP and US audit practices while working with experienced global engagement teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform external audit procedures for a US Not‑For‑Profit client in accordance with US GAAP.
• Prepare and review audit documentation, workpapers, and financial statements.
• Collaborate with global audit teams and communicate findings to the client.
• Support interim and busy‑season engagements, ensuring timely delivery of audit deliverables.
• Maintain high standards of quality and compliance throughout the audit process.

Required profile

• CA(SA) qualification.
• Strong external audit experience.
• Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.
• Excellent communication and client‑management skills.
• Experience with Not‑For‑Profit audits and US GAAP is advantageous but not mandatory.
