Audit Senior – Lead Audit Engagements

About the role

The Audit Senior will lead audit engagements from planning through to finalisation, ensuring compliance with relevant auditing standards and regulatory requirements. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering high‑quality audit work while supervising junior staff and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute and finalise audit engagements for assigned clients.
• Ensure audit work complies with professional standards and regulatory guidelines.
• Supervise, coach and develop junior audit team members.
• Manage client communications, address issues and provide recommendations.
• Prepare audit reports, financial statements and related documentation.
• Identify risk areas and suggest improvements to internal controls.

Required profile

• Qualified accountant or auditor with relevant professional certification.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in external or internal audit.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and meet deadlines.
