Audit Senior – Hybrid/Remote (Durban preferred)

About the role

MPVR is seeking a motivated Audit Senior to deliver high‑quality audit and assurance services to international clients. The role is based in Durban and operates on a hybrid model of two days in‑office and three days remote, with fully remote options for exceptional candidates.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute audit engagements from planning through to completion.
• Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Manage client relationships and act as a primary point of contact.
• Supervise, coach and review the work of junior team members.
• Identify audit risks and provide insights and recommendations.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.

Required profile

• CA(SA) or AGA(SA) qualification.
• BCom Honours or equivalent.
• 2–3 years post‑articles audit experience.
• Proven UK audit/accounting experience.
• Exposure to Irish regulatory environment (advantageous).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
