About the role

We are seeking an ambitious audit professional on the path to CA(SA) to join LDP Chartered Accountants and Auditors as an Audit Manager. The role offers a fast‑track leadership trajectory, working closely with partners and mentoring SAICA trainees while delivering audit engagements for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage audit engagements from planning through completion.
• Review financial statements and audit files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Collaborate with partners on audit, accounting, tax and advisory projects.
• Mentor and develop SAICA trainees and junior staff.
• Manage budgets, work‑in‑progress, billing and overall engagement profitability.
• Maintain compliance with professional standards and firm methodologies.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify value‑adding opportunities.

Required profile

• On the path to obtaining CA(SA) qualification.
• Approximately 1–2 years post‑article audit experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS and SAICA standards.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication abilities.
• Demonstrated leadership potential and passion for developing people.
• Valid driver’s licence as travel is part of the role.
