About the role
We are looking for a dynamic Assistant Manager/Supervisor to lead our store at Hemingways Mall in East London. The role involves overseeing daily operations, ensuring excellent customer experience, and motivating staff. CUM Books, with over 80 years of history, focuses on delivering Christian literature across Southern Africa.
Key responsibilities
- Manage administrative tasks and housekeeping duties.
- Drive sales and deliver high‑quality customer service.
- Assist and coach staff on the shop floor.
- Maintain strong product knowledge to support customers.
- Control stock levels in collaboration with the Store Manager.
- Oversee daily shop‑floor activities and staff requirements.

- Strong leadership abilities.

- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
